89, a resident of 1618 Graham Ave., Henderson, died Sunday, Feb. 5 at Universal Healthcare in Oxford. He was the son of the late Julius C. Mitchell, Sr., and Geneva Madray Mitchell. He was a professional truck driver.

He is survived by four sons, Julius Mitchell III and Richard Mitchell both of Henderson, Ronald Mitchell of Dover, DE, and Steven Mitchell of Bullock; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 11am at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 7 from 2pm-4pm at Wright Funeral Home. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed. Chapel services are limited to fifty (50) attendees selected by the family.
