86, a resident of 2640C Dalton Mill Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Universal Health Care. He was the son of the late Eddie Morton and Dicie Beasley Morton. He is survived by a son, Walter Morton of Bullock; a daughter, Deborah M. Speed of Oxford; three sisters, Lucille Puryear of Bullock, Frances Morton of Philadelphia, PA and Laura Watkins of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Sept. 25 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Sandy Smith. Burial will be in Davis Chapel Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 24 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
