68, a native of Oxford, died Thursday, Feb. 6 in New Haven, CT. He was the son of the late Stanford Hammie and Catherine Turner Hammie.

He is survived by a daughter, Sherita Blue of Milford, CT; four brothers, Freeman Hammie, Charles Hammie, Lonnie Hammie all of New Haven, CT, and Ronnie Hammie of Oxford.

A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, Feb. 20 at Cornerstone Christian Center, 349 Wheelers Farms Road, Milford, CT.
