85, a resident of 4069 Lyn Street, transitioned Tuesday, Jan. 16 at Duke Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Willie Lee McCaden and Annie Lee Thornton McCaden. He was a retired Health Care Technician with John Umstead Hospital.

He is survived by two sons Michael H. McCaden (Brenda) of Oxford and Marvin Sean McCaden (Polly) of Durham; two sisters, Pauline Green and Teresa Taylor (Vernon) both of Oxford; a special niece, Marva Moseley of Farmville, NC; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; six great grandsons; one great-great granddaughter; two great-great grandsons; a number of nieces, nephews other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Jan.21 at Oak Grove Baptist Church at 2pm by Rev. Reginald Harris. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 20 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home.
