69, a resident of 1833 Allen Creek Road in Rougemont, died Tuesday, June 14 at Duke Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Trumiller Crudup.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine McGhee Crudup; one son, John Clax of Clarksville, TN; three brothers, Dallas Crudup of Youngsville, Ollie Perry and Leo Crudup both of Franklington; two sister, Mary Tetteh and Ophelia Hilliard both of Franklinton; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Pope Chapel United Church of Christ in Franklinton by Rev. Leroy Duke. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, June 17 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
