53, a resident of 81 Taylor Farm, died Monday, June 12 at Duke Medical Center. She was the daughter of Marie Jones Harris of Henderson and the late John Thomas Harris.

She is survived by three children, Patrice Brown and Saniece Thomas both of Henderson, and Shaquille Alexander of Greensboro; two sisters, Frances Williams of Durham and Marie Annette Harris of Warrenton; two brothers, Cedric Harris and Fredrick Harris both of Henderson; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 17 at 2:00 P.M. at Nutbush Baptist Church by Rev. Opie Terrell. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing will began at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 16 at Wright Funeral Home and a visitation will be held from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
