60, a resident of 4090 Wilson Town Road, died Saturday, May 25 at his home. He was the son of the late Billy Hawkins and Mary Ethel Terry. He was a welder by trade. He was a member of Wharton Memorial Baptist Church in Nelson, VA.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Jones Terry; two sons, Donte Terry of Nelson, VA and Travis Terry of Clayton, NC; a daughter, Sasha Anderson of Greensboro, NC; two brothers, Floyd Terry of Townsville, NC and Lloyd Terry of New York, New York; a sister, Margaret Daniel of Oxford; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 30 at 2:00 P.M. at Wharton Memorial Baptist Church in Nelson, VA, by Rev. James Hudson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright funeral Home.
