Janet Curtis Hart, 69, of Baker Street, transitioned peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Oxford Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Granville County to the late Rasper Curtis and Ollie Green Curtis.

A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 6:30pm at Temple of Deliverance (505 Bobbitt St, Henderson, NC 27536) by Pastor Natasha Lewis.

She is survived by her husband, Reverend Samuel Hart, Jr "Sammy"; three children: Chris Curtis (Laura) of Raleigh, Angela H. Welborn (Mike) of Henderson, and Trashawn Hart of Oxford; one sister, Arlene Boyd of Oxford; two brothers: Roy Curtis (Tameka) of Durham and Bobby Curtis of Oxford; seven grandcildren and two great-grandchildren.
