55, a resident of 3105 Amherst Road, Rock Mount, died Tuesday, August 21 at her home. She was the daughter of the late James Jordan, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Mayfield Jordan. She was a retired teacher and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

She is survived by her husband Gerald Maxwell Bunting; two sons, Jordan Maxwell Bunting of Raleigh and Jalen Christopher Bunting of Rocky Mount; a sister, Lisa Francine Jordan of Macon; two brothers, James Patrick Jordan of Macon and Edwin Thomas Jordan of Charlotte.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 30 at 11:00 A.M. at Penn Avenue Baptist Church by Rev. Willie Darby. Burial will be in Peace Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at the church. A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, August 29 from 11:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
