90, a resident of 1104 Raleigh Street, died Sunday, May 10 at his home. He was the son of the late Berry Parker and Martha Young. He was a retired tobacco farmer.

He is survived by two daughters, Wanda Branch and Crystal Young both of Oxford; two sons, Melvin Young of Oxford and Toney Young of Henderson; a sister, Mildred Gassaway of Macon; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

A private graveside service (limited to fifty people with social distancing of six feet) will be conducted Thursday, May 14 at South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem.
