James Thomas Thornton's Obituary
75, a resident of 7652 Sam Hall Road, died Monday, May 1 at his home. He was the son of the late Isom Thornton and Lucy Hawley Thornton.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Jackson Thornton; two daughters, Tonya Bailey of Snellville, GA and Tricia Thornton of Raleigh; two sons, Michael Gordon of Oxford and Eric Thornton of Dunwoody, GA; and thirteen grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 5 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home by Rev. Terry Taylor. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, May 4 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
