62, a resident of 1098 Dillard St., Henderson, died Tuesday, June 16 at Duke University Medical Center. He was the son of the late Willie Lee Perry and Pauline Wimbush Perry. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired employee of the Granville County Maintenance Department.

He is survived by his daughter, Chimere Perry of Henderson; seven sisters, Emma Townsend, Clara Whittington (Grover), Rev. Gracie Perry, Mary Perry, Jacqueline Burton (Ray) all of Henderson, Brenda Hansley of Oxford and Deborah King (Bernard) of Burlington; two brothers, Roy Perry and Kevin Perry (Josephine) both of Henderson; and a special friend, Patricia Pernell of Henderson.

A graveside service (with social distancing and limited to fifty people) will be conducted Friday, June 19 in Elmwood cemetery. Please remember your face mask.
