89, a resident of 323 Owen Street, Stovall, died Tuesday, May 19 at Veterans Hospital. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Stovall.

He is survived by two daughters, Robin Owen Love of Roxboro, and Sonya Brown of Durham; two sisters, Scarlett Patterson of Kittrell, and Dorothy Cooper of Henderson; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

A graveside service (limited to fifty people with social distancing of six feet) will be conducted Saturday, May 23 at 1:00 P.M. by Rev. Jimmy Hayes at First Baptist Church of Stovall cemetery.
