84, a resident of 4519 Fairport Rd., died Wednesday at his home. He was the son of the late Eugene Lewis and Dora Downey Lewis. He was a retired employee of Bandag, Inc.

He is survived by his wife, Armantha Stainback Lewis; four daughters, Malinda Hawley of Oxford, Joyce Lewis of Atlanta, GA, Jacqueline Johnson and Laverne Myers both of Durham; a sisters and brother, Shirley Lewis and Frank Lewis both of Oxford; seven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 15 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Bishop Thomas Daniel. Burial will be in Only Way Holy Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Sunday, July 14 from 11:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
