63, a resident of 201 Providence Road, and a native of Liberia, died Friday, June 30 at Granville Health Systems. He was the son of James H. Morgan and Beatrice Smith Morgan of Liberia. He was the pastor of Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Creedmoor.

Other survivors include six brothers, James Morgan of Willingboro, NJ, Shedrick G. Cooper, Winston G. Morgan, Joseph Morgan, Richard Morgan and Edwin G. Sherman all of Liberia.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 15 at 11am at South Granville High School Auditorium. Entombment will be in Mount Vernon Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to Services at South Granville High School Auditorium. The family request that Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more be observed.
