87, a resident of Stem, died peacefully surrounded by loving family Friday, September 8 at her home, 118 E. Tally Ho Road. She was born in Clermont, FL to the late Cornelius Benton  and Bessie Mae Taylor. She was a member of Pettiford Grove Baptist Church in Kittrell.

She is survived by a daughter, Redetha Grady (Willie) of Stem; four sons, Larry Cooper of DeLand, FL, Herman W. Cooper of Crystal River, FL, and Theldon Cooper (Lasnita) Kevin Benton (Sherrelle) of West Covina, CA; fourteen grandchildren; and a vast number of great and great-great grandchildren. One son Donnell S. Benton, predeceased her.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 16 at 2pm at Pettiford Grove Baptist Church by Pastor Alvin Downing. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

It was Mrs. Abrahams request that she not have a public viewing.

Attendees at the services are reminded to observe Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and to social distance as much as humanly possible.
