Seventeen month old son of Nina Thorpe and Devar Smith, died Wednesday, September 23 at Duke University Medical Center.

Other survivors include  four siblings, Jada Thorpe of Norfolk, VA, Maryah Thorpe of Dumfries, VA, Gerald Trowbridge of Henderson and Demarion Smith of Oxford; maternal grandparents, Larry and Glenda Thorpe of Oxford; paternal grandparents, David and Doris Smith of Oxford; and great grandfather, Rev. James Hester also of Oxford.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, September 26 at 11:00 A.M. at New Corinth Baptist Church cemetery. A family viewing will be held Friday, September 25 from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
