84, a resident of Pruitt Health Center in Durham, died Friday, Nov. 18 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Marshall Howard and Ellen Royster Howard of Granville County.

She is survived by three daughters, Esther Louise Allen of Henderson, Shirley Allen Glenn and Doris Allen Carpenter both of Durham; one son, Ronnie Allen also of Durham; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 1:00 P.M. at Olive Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Mack Timberlake. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 21 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
