68, a native of Granville County, died Tuesday, Sept. 27 in Orlando, FL. He was the son of the late Moses Hobgood and Julia Bailey Hobgood. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Miller Hopgood of Columbia, SC; two sons, Howard Hopgood of Orlando, FL and Derrick Miller of Poughkeepsie, NY; one sister, Carolyn Bullock of Oxford; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Oct. 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in St. Semeon Episcopal cemetery in the Satterwhite community. The family will receive visitors Thursday, Oct. 6 from 7-8 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home.
