Helen S Reid's Obituary
93, a resident of Brantwood Nursing Center, died Thursday, July 27 at Grancille Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Small and Harriett Hargrove Small.
She is survived by three daughters, Sylvia B. Godfrey of Creedmoor, Gwendetta Reid-White (William) of McLeansville and Jacqueline Reid of Bronx, NY; one son, John Reid, Jr. of Durham; one grandson, Myron A. Monroe of Oxford; six great grandchildren, Tiffany M. Monroe, Tahmea L. Monroe, Christopher A. Monroe, Michael X. Monroe, Tyazia Duncan and Lola Miller.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 2 at 11:00 A.M. at Island Hill United Church of Christ in Clarksville, VA. A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, August 1 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
