98, a resident of 2802 Charlie Grissom Road, Kittrell, died Sunday, March 14 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Frank Howard and Emma Hicks Howard. She was the widow of the late Phillip E. Peace and was a member of Ilong Baptist Church.

She is survived by five daughters, Zenobia White of Temple Hills, MD, Victoria Bartlett (Leandrew), Patricia Tabourn (Bernard), Deborah Foster (Alvin) all of Kittrell and Jacqueline Cozart (Rev. Dr. Tony) of Oxford; two brothers-in-law, Patrick Peace (Catherine) of Kittrell and Vernell Taylor (Martha) of Oxford; a sister-in-law, Ida Peace of Montross, VA; seventeen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; three great-great-great grandchildren; a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 19 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Dr. Tony Cozart, Rev. James L. Lawson, Rev, George Green and Elder Patrick K. Jackson. Burial will be in Ilong Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, March 18 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home (all services will observe Covid-19 guidelines of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more. Chapel services are limited to fifty people and viewing limited to no more than ten people in the room at any one time).
