85, a native of Franklin County, died Friday, February 8 in Atlanta, GA. She was the daughter of the late William Platt and Ruth Lloyd Platt. She was a retired nurse with the Veterans Hospital in Durham.

She is survived by four sons, William McQueen of Conyers, GA, Darren McQueen of Chicago, IL, Edwin McQueen of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Thomas McQueen of New York, NY; eleven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 16 at 1:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mitchell Baptist Church cemetery in Louisburg. The family will receive visitors at the home of her niece, Daphine Lloyd-Feldman, 8219 Amador Way, Raleigh.
