Rev. Helen Cheek Evans' Obituary
71, a resident of 506 Charles St., transitioned Friday, Oct. 18 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Ellison Cheek and Ellen Hargrove Cheek.
She is survived by two sons, James Tunstall (Tonya) and Thomas Tunstall (Indira); one brother, MacArthur Cheek; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 26 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Morning Star United Holy Church Cemetery (4381 Satterwhite Point Road). A viewing is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 25 from 5pm-7pm at Wright Funeral Home.
