76, a resident of 2187 Brogden Road, died Monday, August 31 at Duke Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late James Lyon and Airlee Wilkerson Lyon.

He is survived by three sons, Thomas Lyon and Fred Lyon both of Creedmoor and Lamont Lyon of Wake Forest; a daughter, Sheila Moss of Creedmoor; a brother, Charles Edward Lyon also of Creedmoor; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted Saturday, September 5 at 12:00 P.M. at Carolina Memorial Gardens by Rev. J. Eric Morgan. Covid-19 guidelines of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed.
