84, a resident of 509 E. Church St., died Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Londyn Bridge Assisted Care in Oxford. She was the daughter of the late John Henry Hall and Ella Lue Peace Hall.

She was a retired teacher with the Granville County School System having taught for over forty years at G. C. Hawley School. She was an active member of numerous civic and community organizations.

She is survived by her husband, James Y. Moore; a daughter, Wanda M.Moore of Raleigh; a son, J. Michael Moore of Arlington, VA; two step-daughters, Debra Beryl Jackson of Huntersville and Maria A. Moore of Durham; three step-grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Feb. 21, at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church by Rev. Edward Davis, Jr. and Rev. Lacy Joyner. Burial will be in Pine Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors Saturday, Feb. 20, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
