66, a resident of Raeford, NC and the daughter of Wilma Lee Thomas and the late Willie Lee Thomas. Transitioned Saturday, June 28 at her home. She was a cosmetologist instructor.

She is survived by a daughter, Lakisha Puryear; a step-daughter, Monique Foy; four grandchildren, Tayveon Gatewood, Jahmear Bargaineer, Jeremiah Townsend and Miles Foy; her mother, Wilma Thomas of Oxford; five brothers, Larry Thomas (Elizabeth Thomas), Pastor Jerry Lee Thomas (Yvonne Thomas), Keith Thomas (Tawanda), Willie Lee Thomas (Rita Thomas) all of Oxford, Toney Thomas (Anna Thomas) of Kansas City, KS; six sisters, Francine Hicks (Reginald Hicks), Maxine Sheftal, Josephine Williams (Johnny Williams) Elaine Yancey (Pastor Terry Yancey), Nita Thomas, and Natalie Thomas all of Oxford. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Thomas.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 3 at 2pm at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jerry Lee Thomas. Burial will be in Huntsville Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services.
