Gladys Marie Hawley Stone, age 74, was born in Granville County to the late William and Doris Harris Hawley. She transitioned from this life on Saturday, March 8, 2025 in Rougemont, NC.

She is survived by her three children: William Linwood Scott, Jr. (April) of Rougemont, NC; Jenine Scott Lemons (Stan) of Rosharon, TX; and Dedra Garnett Stone of Raleigh, NC; three grandsons: Chris Joy, William Markell Scott, and Matthew Lemons, four great-grandchildren: Chloe Joy, Cohen Scott, Kaison Scott, and Cameron Joy.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11am, Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. No viewing is scheduled.
