82, a resident of 227 Green Forest Drive, died Wednesday, January 20 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Isom Thornton and Lucy Hawley Thornton. She was a member of New Hope Granville Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Vebelous Gregory and Theresa Gregory both of Oxford and Coretta Wimbush of Henderson; two sons, Theodore Gregory of Stovall and Vincent Gregory of Henderson; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 26 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel (limited to 50 attendees with face covering and social distancing of 6 feet) by Rev. Isaac III. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Monday, January 25 from 4-6 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
