87, a resident of 810 Raleigh Street, died Wednesday, Feb. 15 at Hock Family Pavilion. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas Jones and Rosa Allen Jones.

She is survived by five daughters, Marilyn Carrington, Shirley Oakley, Donna Hunt, Burnette Hunt and Willie Mae Hunt all of Oxford, and four sons, Charles Thomas Hunt, Alexander Hunt, Ellis Tony Hunt all of Oxford, and Stanley Hunt of Roxboro; seven sisters, Carolyn Bullock, Mary Anna Thomas, Viola Thornton, Earline Harris, Margaret Jones, Christine Jones all of Henderson, and Denise Hopkins of Oxford; five brothers, James M. Bullock, Ricky Jones, David Jones, Henry Jones all of Henderson, and Johnny Jones of Oxford; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Feb. 20 ai 2pm on the grounds of Wright Funeral Home. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 19 from 3pm-5pm at Wright Funeral Home. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed at all services.
