79, a resident of 1195 N. Ridge Drive, Stem, died Monday, January 23 at Duke Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Clarence B. Wilkins and Catherine Blackwell Wilkins.

He is survived by his wife, Anne Harden Wilkins; a son, George T. Wilkins of the home; a daughter, Sylvia Williams of Henderson; a sister, Bettie Lofton (William) of Roxboro; two brothers, Clarence "June" Wilkins (Catherine) of Oxford and Willie Wilkins of Roxboro; and three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Wilkins and a grandson, Jadyn Wilkins.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 28 at 1pm at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Gregory B. Hatcher. Burial will be in New Grassy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Chapel services are limited to fifty (50) attendees selected by the family. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed. A viewing has been scheduled for Friday, January 27 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home.
