77, a resident of 378 Daniel Boone Trail, Henderson, died Saturday, April 29 at Maria Parham Health. He was the son of the late Grover Evins and Luvenia Bland Evins of Woodruff, South Carolina. He was a retired computer specialist. He was a decorated veteran of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by two stepchildren, Neisha Boykins Caldwell of Oregon State and Robert Boykins of Washington State; two sisters, Annie Mosby (Excel) of Parrie, TX and Deborah Gillis (Dobie) of Mentone, CA and two brothers, James C. Evins of Stevens Point WI and Dr. Kenneth Evins (Charlotte) of Oxford.

A memorial service will be conducted Friday, May 12 at 11am by Rev. Harold C. Miller on the grounds of Wright Funeral Home. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more .will be required. The family will receive visitors at 105 Byron Court in Oxford.
