Obituary

68, a resident of 416 Kingsbury St., died Wednesday, Mar. 1 at Bryan's Center in Durham. He was the son of Ruth Holman Cooper and the late Marshall F. Cooper.

He was a member of First Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee. He was a member of Blooming Star Masonic Lodge #53 where he served for over thirty years as Secretary. He was a 1967 graduate of Mary Potter High School and served as Treasurer of the National Mary Potter Alumni Club.

He is survived by a daughter, Andrea Cooper of Greensboro; his mother, Ruth Holman Cooper of Oxford and a sister, Ellen Rita Eaton of Oxford.

Rev. Lacy Joyner will conducted funeral services Monday, March 6 at 1:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens in Henderson. A viewing is scheduled to begin Sunday, March 5 at 11:00 A.M. with the family receiving visitors from 5:00 til 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
