Fred Samuel Hart, 77, of 6562 Cornwall Road, transitioned on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC. He was born in Granville County to the late Benjamin and Virginia Taylor Hart.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm, Saturday, May 31, at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Meadowview Memorial Park. Viewing is scheduled for 5pm to 7pm, Friday.

He is survived by three sisters: Alma Harris of Oxford, Gloria Strong of Stovall and Elaine Speed of Oxford; four brothers: Ben Hart of New York, George Hart of New York, Homer Hart of Oxford, and Ricky Hart of Oxford; and a host of nieces and nephews.
