78, a resident of 2317 Lakewood Street, Suitland, MD, died Thursday, April 27 at The University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Planta, MD. He was the son of the late Harold Samuel Davis and Isabell Taylor Davis. He was a retiree of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by a daughter, Artina Davis of Montreal, Canada; a son, Douglas Davis of Champaign, IL; a sister, Marion Davis of Stovall; a brother, Charles Davis of Oxford; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 6 at 1:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Stovall by Rev. Kent Redmond and Rev. Jimmie Hayes. Burial with full military honors will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, May 5 from 11:00 A.M./ until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
