55, a resident of 811 Goshen Street, died Tuesday, May 28 at his home. He was the son of Etta Taylor Petty Oxford and the late Fletcher Wallace Petty. He was an employee of Revlon.

He is survived by a son and daughter, Kindrick Petty and Kiara Petty both of Charlotte; his mother, Etta Taylor Petty of Oxford; and a sister, Laverne Stevens of Landover, MD.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 2 at 3:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church by Rev. Lacy Joyner and Rev. Edward Davis. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. There will be no public viewing.
