73, a former resident of 119 Webb Place, died Tuesday, June 11 at Valley Nursing Center in Taylorsville. He was the son of the late Joe Green, Sr. and Lucille Davis Green.

He is survived by two daughters, Larissa Green of Euless, TX and Colinda Washington of Queens, NY; two sons, Fletcher Green, Jr. of Bronx, NY and Timothy Green of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Charlotte G. Hester of Oxford, and Helen G. Greer of Henderson; twelve brothers, Joe Green, Jr., Earl T. Green, Ervin Green, Henry Green, Michael Green, Leon Green, Kenneth Green, and Otis Green all of Oxford, Larry Green of Wake Forest, Donald Green, Keith Green, and Ronnie Green all of Durham; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 15 at 1:00 P.M. at Hawkins Chapel Baptist Church by Rev. Kenneth Cozart and Rev. Dr. Tony Cozart. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday, June 14 from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. Viewing will began Friday at 11:00 A.M.
