81, a resident of 5501 Forest View Heights in Oxford, died Friday, Dec. 25 at Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson. He was the son of the late Hugh Perry and Nonie Yarborough Perry of Franklin County.

He was a retired construction worker and a member of First Baptist Church in Oxford, where he sang in the Male Chorus.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene Ann Eaton Perry; five sons, Farrie Lee Perry, Jr. and Earl Burrell both of Louisburg, Hugh Perry of Durham, Randy Perry of Greensboro, and Joe Perry of Raleigh; three daughters, Nonie Watkins of Covington, GA, Lynda Perry and Annie Perry both of Raleigh; fourteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 30 at 1:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church by Rev. Lacy Joyner. Burial will be in Cedar Street Cemetery on Dyking Road in Louisburg. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, Dec. 29 from 4-6 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
