84, a resident of 111 Windemere St., transitioned Wednesday, September 20 at Universal Healthcare. She was the daughter of the late Bost Thompson and Geneva Tharrington Richardson.

She is survived by five children: Mackson Brodie of Bunn, Roseta Brodie of Raleigh, Brenda Taylor, Patricia Brodie and William Brodie all of Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday September 30 at 2pm at Union A.M.E. Zion Church by Rev. Edward Davis, Jr. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be thirty minutes prior to services.
