89, a resident of 1024 Roanoke Ave., died Monday, April 24 at Maria Parham Medical Center. He was the son of the late Amos Gregory and Louvenia Marable Gregory. He was a member of St. James Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife,  Gladys Wright Gregory; a daughter, Eugenia Sharpe of Brooklyn, NY; two sons, Milton Gregory of Brooklyn, NY and Anthony Andre Gregory of Greensboro; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 30 at 2:00 P.M. at St. James Baptist Church by Rev. William Clayton. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, April 29 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
