83, a resident of 4674 Belltown Road, died Friday, Sept. 30 at Duke Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Clyde Cheatham, Sr. and Annie Bell Williams Cheatham. She was a CNA and a retired employee of Murdoch Center.

She is survived by a daughter and son, Maxine R. Cooper and Rodney Odell Cooper both of the home; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 2pm at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Norman Cooper. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church cemetery. Chapel services are limited to fifty attendees selected by the family. A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed.
