73, a resident of 170 S. Beckford Drive, died Friday, Apr. 1, at Maria Parham Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Willie J. Graham and Mary Ruberta Brown Graham of Columbus County. She was a retired Sickle Cell Educator/Counselor with the State of North Carolina.

She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" C. Kearney, Sr.; three children, Jacquetta K. Hawkins of Henderson, June C. Kearney of Rocky Mount and James C. Kearney, Jr. of Durham; a sister and brother, Alice Freeman and Lloyd W. Graham both of Bolton; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Apr. 6, at 1:00 P.M. at Shiloh Baptist Church by Rev. Joseph L. Ratliff. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, Apr. 5 from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home, 3724 Salem Road, Oxford.
