80, daughter of the late Lonnie Fields and Elizabeth Bowden Fields, died Friday, July 12 at Durham Regional Hospital.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn E. Downey and Laverne Thornton both of Oxford; two brothers, Jessie Fields and Toney Fields both of Oxford; three sisters, Deborah Cheatham of Henderson, Catherine Daniel and Bessie Smith both of Oxford; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 18 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home by Rev. William A. Booth. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
