52, a resident of 1293 County Line Road, died Wednesday, Aug. 3 at Philadelphia Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA. He was the son of the late George Lee Wimbush, Sr. and Peggy Jean Seward Wimbush. He was an employee of Revlon.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Valeria Hargrove Wimbush; a daughter, Paige Ellisandrie Wimbush of Manson; three siblings, Alice Faye Wimbush Carter (Etheral), George Lee Wimbbush, Jr. and Mark Maurice Wimbush all or Henderson; a mother-in-law, Mary H. Stimage of East Orange, NJ; two sisters-in-law, Tracy Stimage and Kimberly S. Blair (Bilford) all of East Orange, NJ; eight aunts, Naomi Larks, Ruth Plummer and Mary Wimbush all of Philadelphia, PA, Margaret Clark (Henry), Noreen Wimbush, Phyllis Rainey (Larry), Doris Yarborough and Hattie Miles (Morris) all of Henderson; six uncles, James L. Wimbush, Jr. (Mary) of Petersburg, VA, Wilton Wimbush, Milton Seward (Sandra) and Raymond Seward (Demetria) all of Henderson, Robert Charles Wimbush (Cheryl) of Jonesboro, GA and William Seward of Florida; five great aunts, Martha Davis of Richmond, VA, Dorothy Dailey of New York, Elizabeth Brame of Oxford, Mary Lee Dailey and Marion Person both of Henderson; two special aunts, Jacqueline H. Grate of Raleigh and Patricia H. Richburg of East Orange, NJ; three nieces, one nephew, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Aug. 11 at 1:00 P.M. at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. John Jefferson. Burial will be in Manson Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 10 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 p.P.M. at Wright Funeral Home in oxford.
