58, a resident of 1818 Milan St., Durham, died Tuesday, Sept. 13 at Duke Medical Center. She was the daughter of Calvin P. Houpe and Mary Conner Houpe of Wayne County. She was a medical coder by profession.

Other survivors include her husband, Renwick Burford; four daughters, Chrystal Mitchell and Sherri Burford both of Oxford, Lakeisha Burford of Douglasville, GA, and Varen Burford of Chapel Hill; a sister, Selena H. Reaves of Goldsboro.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 17 at 3pm at Belton Creek Baptist Church by Rev. William Cozart. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 16 from 6pm-8pm at Wright Funeral Home and Saturday, Sept. 17 one hour prior to services at the church.
