CHANGE OF VENUE FOR SERVICES.

94, a native of Granville County, and the daughter of the late Samuel and Mattie Young, died Wednesday, July 7 in Baltimore, MD. She was a retired employee of the Social Security Administration.

She is survived by  two grandchildren, Desirae Thorpe Williams (Antoine) of Baltimore, MD and Brandon Thorpe (Jenifer) of Virginia; three great grandchildren, Amelia Thorpe, Lena Thorpe and Destini Williams; two sisters, Alice Jenkins of Greensboro and Margaret Young of New York; a devoted daughter-in-law, Barbara Thorpe of Baltimore, MD; a vast number of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 18 at 2pm at First Baptist Church of Stovall by Rev. Clarisse Young. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at the church.
