66, a resident of 600 Pineburr Place in Durham, died Sunday at Duke Regional Hospital. He was the son of Margaret Bynum Winborne Batton and the late Dennis C. Winborne of Como, NC.

He is survived by a wife, Mary Arrington Winborne; two daughters, Yulonda W. Allen, Cockeysville, MD and Kymberly W. Goldston of Morrisville; three sons, Jason Winborne of Knightdale, Dervin Winborne of Raleigh and Terrence Winborne of Durham; a mother, Margaret Bynum Winborne Batton of Como; five sisters, Gloria Winborne of Augusta, GA, Teresa Batton of Como, Denise Jackson, Laura Winborne and Emily Winborne-Peele all of Suffolk, VA; four brothers, Dennis Winborne of Suffolk, VA, Tony Batton of Troy, Melvin Winborne and James Everette both of Como; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Sept. 4, at 1:00 P.M. at Union Baptist Church, 904 N. Roxboro Street in Durham, by Reverend Melvin Reddick. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery. Viewing will begin Thursday, Sept. 3, from 11:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at Union Baptist Church.
