Elder Keith G. Thicklin, 52, of Cheatham Avenue, transitioned on Thursday, December 18 at his residence. He was born in Chicago, IL to Katherine Thicklin and the late Willis Thicklin Jr.

He is survived by his wife, LaToya Harris-Thicklin; two children: Kennedy Thicklin of Plano, TX and Keith Thicklin Jr of Atlanta, GA, his mother, Katherine Thicklin of Chicago, IL; and one brother, Willis "Chip" Thicklin III of Chicago, IL.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm, Saturday, January 3 at Tansformation Church (3103 Sterl Carrington Rd, Oxford, NC 27565) by Bishop Garland Heggie. Interment will follow in the New Grassy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be from 5pm to 7pm, Friday, January 2 at Wright Funeral Home.
