74, a resident of 1620 Rabon Farms Lane, Columbia, SC, died Friday, August 7 at his home. He was the son of the late John Saxton and Amy Lee Mills Saxton of Tampa, FL. He was a Mental Health Counselor, and a veteran of the United States Army where he was the recipient of the Purple Heart Award.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Holman Saxton; a daughter, Ayanni and two grandchildren, Malit and Makin; a sister, Dorothy Ellen Saxton Curry (Harold) of Detroit, MI; two brothers, David Lawrence Saxton, and Malcomb T. Saxton (Emeline) both of New York, NY.

A graveside service (limited to fifty (50) attendees and observing Covid-19 protocol of Face Masks and social distancing of six feet or more) will be conducted Saturday, August 15 at 11:00 A.M. at Sunset Gardens in Henderson. A viewing (following CDC guidelines of gathering limited to no more than ten (10) people at any one time) will be held Friday August 14 from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. Remember your face mask and social distancing of six feet or more.
