84, a resident of 922 Williamsboro St., died Saturday, July 20 at Sentara Hospice House in Virginia Beach, VA. He was the son of the late Ernest E. Riddick and Fannie Brown Riddick of Norfolk, VA.

He was a Teacher at the former G. C. Hawley High School. His illustrious career expended for over thirty-one years. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where he was Minister of Music for many, many years.

He is survived by two sons, Wade Riddick of Suffork, VA and Michael Riddick of Durham; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 27 at 1:00 P.M. at Christian Faith Center by Rev. Tony Boss, Rev. Dorothy Evans, and Rev. Haywood Dock. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, July 26 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home.
