Edna Wilkerson Cooper, 99, of 413 Granville Street transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Brantwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Granville County to the late Marcellous and Melisa Satterwhite Wilkerson. She was a dedicated licensed cosmetologist who continued to work as a beautician even at the age of 98.

Though she had no immediate relatives, she was loved and cared for by thoughtful nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, November 8th in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home by Rev. Gregory D. Hatcher. Interment will follow in Sunset Gardens. A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 7th from 5-7p.m. at Wright Funeral Home.
